This is the page where all of the locations are displayed.  To find a place, first find the general place (Hogwarts, Diagon Alley, Hogsmeade, Other places in the wizarding world, or places in the muggle world) highlighted in yellow.  Then find the place in alphabetical order.

 
Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry – a school of Magic located somewhere in London; many classes include: Defense Against the Dark Arts, Potions, Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, Transfiguration, Astronomy, Divination, Hogwarts History, Muggle Studies, Ancient Runes, Arithmancy; 5th years must take O.W.L.’s; 7th years must take N.E.W.T.’s; 4 Quidditch teams (1 for each house)

Black Lake – the lake outside of Hogwarts; inhabited by merpeople; used in the 2nd task of the Triwizard Tournament

Chamber of Secrets – hidden chamber in Hogwarts made by Salazar Slytherin; takes the heir of Slytherin to open it; a Basilisk lied within it until Harry Potter killed it in his second year; entrance is a sink in the girls bathroom on the 2nd floor

Enterance Hall – the main hall in which you enter into Hogwarts

Forbidden Forest – the forest outside of Hogwarts which is inhabited by centaurs, unicorns, and countless other magical creatures

Great Hall – the hall inside of Hogwarts where everyone eats; has 4 house tables and the staff table; has an enchanted ceiling that looks like whatever the sky outside looks like

Gryffindor Common Room – a tower on the 7th floor where Gryffindors stay when they are not in classes; guarded by the portrait of the Fat Lady who requires a password to enter; inside of it are red couches and chairs and a fireplace

Hufflepuff Common Room – the common room where Hufflepuffs stay when they are not in classes

Quidditch Pitch – the area outside of Hogwarts where students practice and play Quidditch with areas surrounding for members of each house to sit and watch

Ravenclaw Common room – a tower where Ravenclaws stay when they are not in classes; guarded by a statue who requires the correct answer to a riddle to enter; inside of it is a statue of Rowena Ravenclaw

Room of Requirement – a room on the 7th floor which turns into whatever a particular person is in desperate need of when they walk by it; served for a meeting place for Dumbledore’s Army

Slytherin Common Room – a room located in the dungeons where Slytherins stay when they are not in classes; full of skulls; light is green since its under the lake


Diagon Alley – a town where Hogwarts students go to get their school supplies with many magical shops in it; entrance in The Leaky Cauldron in a muggle town

Eeylop’s Owl Emporium – a store where you can buy owls at

Flourish and Blotts – the shop where Hogwarts students get their schoolbooks at

Gringotts – the wizarding bank with vaults to keep money and treasures in; Goblins work there

The Leaky Cauldron – run by Tom the barkeeper; serves as entrance to Diagon Alley in a muggle town; you can eat here or stay here

Madam Malkin’s – a shop run by Madam Malkin where you can buy robes and cloaks for all occasions

Magical Menagerie – a shop where you can buy pets of all sorts; Hermione got Crookshanks here

Olivanders – run by Mr. Olivander; maker of fine wands; most Hogwarts students get their wands her
 
Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes - a shop run by Fred and George Weasley that sells all kinds of joke items
 
 
Hogsmeade – the town outside of Hogwarts; only completely magical village

Hog’s Head – run by Aberforth Dumbledore; has a plaque of a hog’s head outside of it; a rundown bar

Honeyduke’s – a shop where you can buy all types of wizarding candy; the One- Eyed Witch passageway in Hogwarts leads you strait into Honeyduke Cellar

Madam Puddifoots – a cozy tea cottage near the end of the road; Cho brought Harry here on Valentine’s Day in his 5th year

Three Broomsticks – a very popular bar run by Madam Rosmerta

Zonko’s Joke Shop – a joke shop where you can buy all kinds of things that help ou play practical jokes on people like dungbombs

Other places in the Wizarding World

Azkaban – the wizarding prison which is guarded by dementors

Beauxbatons – a wizarding school for girls that participated in the Triwizard Tournament; the Headmistress is Madam Olympe Maxime

Burrow – the Weasley’s house

Durmstrang – a wizarding school for boys that participated in the Triwizard Tournament; Headmaster is Igor Karrakoff

Godric’s Hollow – a village where Godric Gryffindor first lived; many Wizards and Witches live there like James and Lilly Potter used to and Bathilda Bagshot; graveyard there is where Harry’s parents, Dumbledore’s mother and sister, and Ignotus Peverell are buried

Malfoy Manor – the Malfoy’s house

Ministry of Magic – the place that controls all of the wizarding world such as muggle mishaps or criminal trials; the Department of Mysteries is where secret things go on

Platform 9 ¾ - the platform that leads to the Hogwarts Express located in Kings Cross Station; enter by walking strait through the barrier between 9 and 10

Quidditch World Cup Stadium – The huge arena where famous Quidditch teams play for the Quidditch World Cup

Shell Cottage – the place where Bill and Fleur Weasley live

Shrieking Shack – the most haunted place in Brittan; entrance through the Whomping Willow at Hogwarts
 
St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries - the hospital for witches, wizards, and muggles who have been injured by magic

12 Grimmauld Place – located in a muggle village in between numbers 11 and 13; the Black family residence

Locations in the Muggle World

Forest of Dean – a forest where Hermione and her parents went camping once; Harry, Hermione, and Ron also went here while absent from Hogwarts in their 7th year

Grunnings – the company that makes drills that Vernon Dursley works for

Kings Cross Station – the train station where platform 9 ¾ is located

Smeltings – the private school Dudly attends

St. Brutus Secure Centre for Incurably Criminal Boys – the place the Dursley’s say Harry is going to explain his long absences in which he attends Hogwarts

Stoadshead Hill – the place where the portkey to the Quidditch World Cup was located

Stonewall High – the public school where Harry was supposed to go if he had not gone to Hogwarts
